Each of our products uses turf derived from ancient peat bogs in Ireland. The country's peatlands began to form 9,000 years ago, at the end of the last Ice Age! Since then, bogs have played an integral role in rural Irish life.
While this role has naturally changed over time, we take great pride in bringing a slice of history to you.
Embedded in the highest-quality resin, each piece is carefully hand-crafted by Patrick Hoey in Clongill near Emlagh bog in County Meath.
